Six things included free during your 1-year installation warranty and the following 3 years of complimentary remote support. No subscription. No call-out fee for issues we can solve remotely. After year 4, remote support remains available at standard rates — though our installs are configured precisely enough that ongoing callbacks are rare.

DMSS for Dahua cameras, AJAX app for alarms. We walk you through push notifications, multi-user setup, playback scrubbing, AI rule tuning, and adding new family members or staff to your system. By phone, email, or remote session.

Firmware management

Cameras, NVRs, and AJAX hubs all get firmware updates from the manufacturers. We push them remotely via dealer portals when stable releases drop — you don't have to log in and click anything. We test the update first.

Remote diagnostics

AJAX PRO Desktop and Dahua dealer portal let us see your sensor health, battery levels, RF signal strength, camera uptime, NVR storage, and firmware versions from our office. Most "is something wrong?" calls get answered in 5 minutes without a visit.

AI rule tuning

False alerts from a tree branch? Camera missing the front gate? We log in remotely and adjust detection zones, sensitivity, schedules, and event categories. Your system gets smarter over time, not noisier.

You contact us

Phone, email, or text. Describe what you're seeing — "no notifications on my new phone", "camera 3 looks dim at night", "AJAX hub showing offline". Mr Secured's name will be in your install paperwork.

Remote check first

Within a few hours, we log into AJAX PRO Desktop or the Dahua dealer portal and look at your system. Most issues — app permissions, firmware drift, AI rule misfire, sensor low battery — we see and fix from here.

Walk-through call

If we need you to tap something in the app or restart the hub, we'll call and walk you through it step-by-step. No tech jargon. We stay on the line until you see it working.

On-site only if needed

If the issue is hardware (sensor flat, camera physically knocked, cabling damaged), we book a site visit. You only pay for actual on-site work — never for the remote diagnostic time that came before.

Common Support Questions

Is there a monthly support fee or subscription?
No subscription. Phone, email, and remote troubleshooting are included free during your 1-year installation warranty AND the following 3 years (years 2, 3, and 4). After year 4, remote support remains available at standard hourly rates — but because our installs are configured precisely, callbacks are very rare. The only other paid components are on-site visits requiring hands-on work, and hardware replacements outside the relevant manufacturer warranty.
What if I got a new phone and lost access to my app?
Common situation. Call us — we'll add your new device to your AJAX account or DMSS profile, restore your saved views, and reconfigure push notifications. Usually a 10-minute remote session.
My alarm went off when nothing was happening. What do I do?
First, check the MotionCam verification photo in the AJAX app — that usually shows what actually triggered (often a spider on a sensor, a curtain blowing, or a pet zone misfire). Then call us. We log into PRO Desktop, look at the event chain, and adjust the rule that caused the false. Sensitivity tuning is free.
Will you push firmware updates without telling me?
Critical security updates we push immediately and notify you the same day. Feature updates we wait 4-6 weeks for community testing, then push and let you know. You always get a notification when something changed.
What happens if I move house?
Two options: we relocate your existing system to the new property (quoted as a small relocate job — uninstall + reinstall + recommission), or we hand over the system to the new owner with a documentation pack and they become our customer instead. Your choice.
