Does Ajax need a monthly subscription?
No. Mr Secured installs Ajax as a self-monitored system — alarms go straight to your phone via the Ajax app at no recurring cost. If you want professional 24/7 monitoring, we can hook you into a third-party Australian monitoring station for around $25–$35 per month, but it's optional, not bundled.
How is Ajax different from a Bunnings DIY kit?
Encrypted Jeweller radio, 2,000 m sensor range, 7-year sensor battery, photo verification, dual-tech outdoor sensors, and a hub with Ethernet + Wi-Fi + dual-SIM 4G backup. DIY kits are loud sirens. Will it interfere with my CCTV or Wi-Fi?
Ajax runs on 868 MHz Jeweller radio, well clear of 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and standard CCTV bands. We always pair Ajax with Dahua CCTV when both are installed — they sit on separate frequencies and complement each other.
How much does an Ajax install cost?
